I had a wonderful stay at The Old Manor House on 23 June. Kerstin could not have made me feel more welcome and was extremely accommodating to my plans for the weekend. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable indeed. I will be back for a return visit!

I stayed at the Old Manor House on 30 June 2012. A lovely place in a very pretty part of Kent. The room was comfortable and homely with everything you could need. As well as the usual TV, coffee making facilities, etc, there was also a decent selection of books, a bath robe and a bottle of wine. The rooms have their own entrance at the side of the house. Breakast was a delicious, traditional fry-up, made with good quality ingredients. Kerstin herself was a charming hostess and was kind enough to allow me to park my motorbike in her garden. Highly recommended.

as luck would have it we, a family of four, ended up in the Old Manor House, where we were made to feel most welcome and at home!
We hope to return to Kent and this B&B in years to come. The rooms were cosy and comfortable and breakfast a treat.
Having breakfast downstairs offered a lovely glimpse into Kerstin’s life. Our stay here made the holiday extra special!! and I will be certain to recommend this place to friends and family.

This is a winning combination: good location, charming house. clean, hot water, comfortable bed and a most excellent breakfast. All this is overseen by the delightful Kerstin. Definitely a strong recommend; a classic English B&B (run by a Scandinavian!).

I stayed at Kerstin´s place for a week and felt so very welcome and at home! The breakfast was better than in a hotel and Kerstin proved to be an excellent cook when she prepared a great evening meal for me and my fellow travellers.
The room was comfortable, clean and I could have a cup of tea whenever I liked – Kerstin had even provided some biscuits!
She was a great host and a warmhearted and comforting woman for those in a crisis!
I´d love to come back !

we stayed for one night on thursday 6th sept. what a lovely place to stay. our room was very comfortable.breakfast was delicious and served in the lovely setting of kerstins house. i would certainly recommend the house to friends. one comment i would make is that i would have liked to have 2 towels left fior each of us instaed of just one and also more toilet rolls left instead of having to economize!!

This is a very good B & B! we had the upstairs room which is large, albeit that if you were over 6 ft tall, you would have a problem. Very comfortable bed and two arm chairs and TV. The usual tea/coffee/chocolate were available. Good en suite power shower, loo etc (no bath)

Excellent breakfast, chopped oranges mixed with melon, followed by fried egg, sausage, bacon and mushrooms. Good coffee. Brown and white toast with raspberry jam and marmalade, all eaten in the main part of the house. This room has magnificent beams.

The history of this house needs to be explored as I think it could have a large crown post in the roof and the beams throughout are impressive and suggest that it was an important dwelling dating back to the 1500 hundreds. The roof might also reveal that it was originally a hall house.

I spent a very enjoyable weekend at The Old Manor House where Kerstin proved to be a most charming hostess. She cooked lovely breakfasts, provided comfortable beds and was always available to help us with our every tourist needs. A lovely tranquil break during an otherwise hectic schedule in Kent. We had a fantastic 2 night stay at the Old Manor House for a family wedding. The double room was gorgeous and pleny big enough for a blow up matress for our 2 children. We had everything we needed and Kerstin was a lovely hostess. Breakfast was in the main house which was also gorgeous! The food was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The pub directly across the road was lovely for dinner with great kids menus and very nice quality food. Would definately stay here again if we were in the area.

We have stayed at Kerstins b&b for the past fifteen years! We had our honeymoon in Westerham and have gone back every year since then.
The room has always been spotless and is so cosy and has everything we need, the bed is so comfortable and the breakfast is always fantastic, I am vegetarian and Kerstin always makes sure my breakfast is just as good as my husbands full english that he always has.Nothing is too much trouble and kerstin always manages to accommodate us. We love it so much we spend our birthdays there most years, its like a home from home and Kerstin feels like a friend now. We highly recommend the old manor house and will continue to go back for years to come.

A friendly port in a terrible storm, we stayed at The Old Manor House whilst moving house. The weather was appalling – torrential rain and high winds – and we stood like drowned rats on the doorstep, freezing and fed-up. Moments later we were nursing a hot cup of tea and being shown to our lovely room. The Old Manor House quite literally saved our lives!

We have just stayed with friends at The Old Manor House and enjoyed our stay and the warm welcome afforded by Kirsten. The weather changed from cold to freezing with at least 6inches of snow but we were warm and comfortable and the White Hart provided us with a superb meal on our second evening. The breakfasts were very enjoyable and have kept us warm on our journey south.

Living in Worcestershire and needing somewhere to stay for two nights within easy reach of the birthday party in Sevenoaks we had been invited to, we came across The Old Manor House on the internet. What a good choice! The room was comfortable and quiet, Kerstin’s warm welcome and excellent breakfast made us feel really at home, and we had an excellent meal at The White Hart across the road. Great location on the Green too, and within a short distance of so many places we have loved over the years – Westerham, Toys Hill, Ide Hill, Knole, Chartwell …

Just stayed for 2 nights midweek with Kerstin. A beautiful building in a lovely village, the double room upstairs was stunning – comfortable, spacious and bright. She accommodated my wife, myself and two-year old son without any issue. The double room has space for a travel cot. Lovely breakfast, could do with a bit more toast!
Recommended and looking forward to a return stay.

I loved having the Flanagan family to stay, all 3 1/2 of them! Sorry about the lack of toast, you should just have asked as I like to make every round fresh, I can assure you that there was plenty. However, these things happen and I too am looking forward to your return stay. Hopefully there will be 4 by then.

The location was convenient with a bus stop in front of the grass fleld. Most important of all, our hostess Kerstin had been very considerate and helpful. We were very well looked after. A lovely place to stay. We spent a weekend night in the room upstairs and it was really brilliant with its view to the commons. My wife loved it and said it was the best BB she had visited.

We are cyclists, but I am not quite sure landlady’s approach to cyclist in the future, because we stowed our bikes in the tiny porch. However, the landlady told us that there is a shed for bikes.

For breakfast, we were given a generous hamper of cyclist-friendly goodies instead of the usual stuff – much appreciated.

Brasted from a cyclist’s view – it’s Bourg d’Oisans of Kent with Toys Hill as its Alpe d’Huez. Just make it four time as hard as you can and your legs will ask you for a pint in one of the village’s pubs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Manor House in Brasted, Kent. While a 500 year old B&B is not disabled accessible, Kerstin and her son, Rupert, helped my husband (who is disabled in his legs) with extra care and accommodations to make our stay the most comfortable. We stayed in the ground floor room and enjoyed it as a “base of operations” as we traveled to London and around southern England. Kerstin is a lovely hostess and makes the best breakfast! We would love to stay here again, if the opportunity arises!

Kerstin had thought of absolutely everything that could be done to make guests welcome and to cater for their every need – even down to a small bowl of jelly babies (my favourite) in the bedroom.
The breakfast was better than you would expect to receive in an expensive hotel and was not only delicious but beautifully presented.
Thank you Kerstin for welcoming us in to your home and if we are heading your way again we would not hesitate to stay with you.

I stayed at the old manor house on 19th Dec 14 which was the night before my wedding. It was in the perfect location to get to the church in the morning (St Botolphs Chevening) and was also close to the venue (Westerham Golf Club). I booked both bedrooms for myself and my bridesmaids which was ideal what with all the space needed on the morning of the wedding. I would definitely recommend this b&b for any brides to be or in fact to anybody wanting to stay. Kerstin was always there when needed (I was a bit more demanding especially on the day of the wedding when she even helped me get into my car). The breakfast was perfect and is served in a lovely decorated dining room. I am so glad I booked this b&b as it is much more personal than a chain hotel.
I have also provided a review on TripAdvisor. As soon as I get photos from the photographer of this b&b I will post them.
    I would give this b&b 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Even though the road traffic noise can be heard, it is not at all intrusive. The White Hart across the road is a nice, comfortable pub with the emphasis on food. We enjoyed a nice meal there.
