  • Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill.
  • Knole House, intriguing house with medieval deer park once occupied by Vita Sackville West.
  • Hever Castle,  beautiful 13th century moated castle where Henry VIII once lived
  • Ightham Mote , magnificent moated house dating from 1320 in Tudor style
  • Penshurst Place, medieval family home and gardens set in spectacular surroundings
  • Emmetts Garden, famous for its spring flowers, autumn colours and rare trees and shrubs in an idyllic setting
  • Down House,  the home of Charles Darwin scientist and author of The Origin of Species These are just a few attractions. We will always and willingly try to help with itineraries and planning of days out. There are plenty of eating places around and in particular the village pub.
  • The White Hart is a very stylish and popular place and as it’s within walking distance it couldn’t be easier.
  • The next town of Westerham offers a large variety of eating places with an excellent Indian restaurant and plenty of Italian, French and other cuisine.
